MODERN AMERICAN FARE IN AN OLD-STYLE SETTING The pungent scent of gunpowder lingers in the air, the card sharps are cheating shamelessly at Texas hold 'em whilst some toughs at the bar are vying for the local beauty's favours and might even come to blows ... That's more or less how things went in saloons back in the heyday of the American Wild West - and is now at our "Silver Lake Saloon". The venue draws seasoned and greenhorn cowboys and Indians alike with hamburgers, barbecued spareribs and our Western fry-up. Our menu also offers salads, salmon and turkey steaks for the squaws, as well as brownies and blueberry pancakes for dessert. Two red-letter days on the Wild West calendar are our Sunday country brunch with a spectacular lasso show and a Western shindig replete.
Reservation was forgotten. Prices have soared this year. Staff was not interested in sales-oriented service. Waited 40 minutes to order drinks. The birthday table was ordered, this was also forgotten despite the staff reminding me that evening. There was only singing for other guests directly at the table. The taste of the food was a lot better. Show could not be enjoyed because the tables are separated from each other with white plexiglass! Why not see-through? A pity !!! Because we always came with a lot of anticipation! But not MORE!
I find the price-performance ratio not okay. For example, the kids noodles cost almost € 7 and don't taste at all. We were a large group and had to wait far too long for the service. There is a nice little show, but we couldn't see it because of the milk glasses that were attached due to Corona. To do this, we would have to stand in the hallway without any distance. Logic?! The music was pleasant and the food was partly tasty. More examples of it being overpriced: Turkey steak almost € 19 Brownies almost € 8 Cola (0.5l) almost € 5 Mineral water (0.75l bottle) almost € 7
Just one star We have already been there a few times, the tables are separated with white plexiglass, which makes it absolutely impossible for 80 percent of those sitting at the table to hear something from the show, I think almost 5 euros for a 0.5 coke is more than outrageous, Despite reservation a table in the last corner with 9 people, waited forever for the staff until someone took the order
As part of our Europapark visit from October 9th, 2020 to October 15th, 2020 we were also several times in the Silver Lake Saloon for dinner🍔🍟🍖. It is totally rustic and completely authentically made in "Western style" 🤠. There is live music at the weekend! I can only recommend reserving in advance. The place was packed every night. The guests came from the surrounding park hotels and the camp resort. The waiters, waitresses and the entire service staff were without exception super friendly and extremely helpful. Many thanks to Gabor and Zoltan for always getting us a table! 👍👏. The food is delicious. The spare ribs were my all-time favorite. The Silver Lake Saloon is totally recommendable
Very good food, cool location and the service is awesome. We will be back!
The food is great and has always been delicious so far. The price-performance ratio is just about right. What leaves something to be desired is the service. Until you have food and drinks on the table, the waiter is quick. From then on you don't get any more attention and you have to make yourself noticeable in order to be able to order drinks or a dessert again. That is a shame and could be improved. If you sit downstairs, it is also very noisy when the restaurant is full. At the top you sit much calmer.
We had booked because necessary with the covid measures. We had to wait more than 30 mins in the middle of the path in the middle of the terrace in full sun by over 25 ° because our table was given to people passing by and who just wanted a drink. (Who therefore did not book) When we finally saw a table we ran to get it because no one from the staff was looking after us. We sat down and waited another 30 mins, despite waving to the waitress (who was wearing her mask under her nose .....). Who asked us what we wanted next. We specified that we had just arrived and that we would like the table to be emptied and cleaned. She just took the glasses and plates from the previous people and we had to choose a trivet from the previous group that she left us because she refused to give us at least a new one, pitiful. We did not receive what we ordered and had to wait another 30 mins to pay and we got yelled at because we did not have the exact change. In short, anything and not a single gesture for all the concerns encountered. This is not the first time that I have had a very bad experience with this restaurant, which absolutely does not meet the standards of the park, both in terms of staff and procedures. I would point out that there were several of us who spoke quite respectable English in addition to French, and despite her telling us to speak English she did not understand much. I will never go there again and very very strongly advise anyone staying at the campsite to go to any restaurant in Rust instead. (The stay took place in June 2020)
Great food, very friendly staff, always happy ...
Awesome atmosphere. Great service. Enjoy your meal. Barbecue ribs highly recommended!
We were really pleasantly surprised! Burgers were super delicious and the price was really okay, the Coleslaw a large portion for two. The waitresses were all really nice and the atmosphere was of course cool.
At first we thought that we would have dinner "out" in the evening (we were overnight guests at the camp resort), then we spontaneously went to the Silver Saloon attached to the camp, the weather was good and so we decided to sit outside . Looking at the menu, we noticed two things: 1. A good selection (not too many) 2. Not exactly cheap. Well, our eyes wandered over to the plates of the other guests and we figured they were good portions. So come on, order food from the nice waiter, add 3 liters of wheat beer in the column and enjoy. The portions are really generous and everything is freshly made, the ambience is just great and the waitresses are all nice and have a friendly saying on their lips (behind a mask, of course). So if you stay the night in Europa-Park, this restaurant is definitely a great choice, of course it's best to look for a place outside in summer / early autumn when the weather is good, so you can sometimes watch the cook grilling
Very good surprise !! Really excellent. I took the salmon steak. TOP ! I highly recommend!
Super run saloon, great food, Price performance is fully justified. We recommend. Super fast staff. Always happy.
We had a great evening. The food was very tasty. On our next visit to the park, we will go back to eat here. The ambience was totally impressive!
Like everything from Europa-Park, it is very lovingly and authentically designed. The food is good and the service is very quick. Price absolutely okay.
I ate at here with my family, and all the dishes we ordered were fantastic! The steaks were very tender and juicy. I loved the atmosphere, there was nice live music! Staff was friendly. We had a great time!
Good food for a nice price. Very nicely decorated, entirely in western style. Conveniently located on the campsite.
Very nice location with a great atmosphere, live performances on stage and very nice staff. The food was really delicious, in our group ate 4 different dishes and each dish was perfectly prepared and tasty.
Fast service with amazing food! It is abit of a walk from the hotel but worth it. Delicious.
Friendly staff, the waiters do not speak French and not much English !! He box us where there is room with other people the dishes is "Buffalo Grills" anyway.
Our food was delicious; Unfortunately, there was not everything on the menu. Price performance ratio we found ok! We are happy to come back again.
Realy nice theming! Great atmosfere. The food was good but nothing special. Ideal sit down restaurant on a rainy day.
Very authentic restaurant with a great sun terrace. Part of the meat is grilled on the large grate for the guests. The salmon was cooked to perfection, the spareribs tender and the barbeque sauce just fantastic. The grill potato was not to our taste but the overall experience is not deceptive. Also, the Western Show after Europapark finish is well worth seeing.
Best rives ever
Was here twice - first time as a normal restaurant visit and the second time for the western dinnershow. During both visits, both the food and the entertainment were amazing - I had alot of fun here! Definitely worth a visit.
Top
Great ribs 9/10 (and I set the bar pretty high for ribs) and pulled pork 8/10. Staff didn't speak English which is fine but feels weird in an American restaurant. Could be more long drinks on the menu but lots of good beers wine etc. Food and atmosphere surprisingly good. Totally enjoyed this place on the whole and recommend if you're staying here.
Spareribs all you can eat beschde!!
We had tried to eat here twice before and always full. Finally got a table this past weekend. The food was great, my spare ribs was fell off the bones; although the BBQ sauce tasted a bit different than what I used to have, it's still good. My daughter had a burger and it was excellent, very juicy and tasty. A guy was playing guitar and singing country music, quite entertaining. Unfortunately we were quite early, so missed the show that started at 9pm.
